| General Terms and Conditions We endeavour to be as flexible and reasonable as possible in order to provide our guests with the best possible customer experience before, during and after your stay with us. We would hope that any misunderstandings or disagreements if they were to happen would be resolvable by normal methods of communication. It would be foolish not to include a few T’s and C’s, if only in order to set expectations as to how we like to go about doing business. The terms and conditions detailed herein together with the holiday confirmation invoice comprise the agreement between us and those persons listed on the booking. A) Booking 1) We require a deposit of £100 per person (€143) for any period of booking unless the booking is made within four weeks of the date of your holiday, in which case we will require the full amount at the time of booking. 2) If paying a deposit, we will write to you to advise you of safe receipt of deposit, and also enclose your confirmation invoice. 3) Full payment is required 28 days prior to your holiday – payment due date will be shown on the confirmation invoice. 4) Please check your confirmation invoice carefully upon receipt – if there is a discrepancy please notify us immediately. We will take immediate action to remedy. 5) Payment is only accepted via cheque or bank transfer. Currency is only accepted in pounds sterling or euros. 6) The contract is only finalised upon your receipt of the holiday confirmation invoice (in the unfortunate event of any mistakes we have made in the case of incorrect issuance of confirmation invoice, we will not be bound by the incorrect price quoted on the invoice. Only the corrected confirmation invoice will be valid). B) Cancellations/amendments by us 1) If any unforeseen circumstances arise that result in us having to cancel or amend your holiday we will do our utmost to offer you alternative dates at the same price, or the published price if lower than the dates that you originally booked. If after 7 days we have not received communication from you as to whether you would like to accept the alternative dates we will assume that you do not wish to accept. We will then refund you in full. In the event that you fail to pay in full by the required date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In this case you would forfeit your deposit. C) Cancellations/amendments by you 1) If you cancel, please advise us immediately. Cancellations are only valid once we have acknowledged them. If you cancel you will be liable to pay the cancellation charges as follows:- • Cancellation made more than 28 days before scheduled departure: Deposit paid will be refunded. • Cancellation made 28 days or less before scheduled departure: 100% of deposit for all persons will be retained. 2) If only some members of a party wish to cancel, this will result in the remainder having to pay any applicable supplements according to rooms booked to retain the group booking. For example, if a twin room was originally booked and one person cancels, the remaining party will have to pay the fee for this under occupancy. 3) If for any reason you were to decide to cut short your holiday, no refunds will be payable for any unused nights’ accommodation. D) Our liability to you 1) We shall not be liable in respect of any death, bodily injury or illness caused whilst on holiday unless it is proved to be due to our own negligence. 2) Our liability in any action (excluding that for personal injury, illness or death) will be limited to the sums received by us from you (excluding any sums received by us for additional chalet services, for example, ski hire, activity arrangements). E) During your stay with us 1) Meals start with supper on the first day of your stay at our chalet, and finish with breakfast on the day of your departure. 2) In the interest of fire and safety regulations, insurance and out of consideration for other guests our chalet is non-smoking. 3) You are responsible for any damage caused to the chalet caused by you during your stay. 4) If we feel that any guest is not behaving within the realms of what we deem suitable towards ourselves or other guests, or damaging our property we reserve the right to terminate their stay with us. We will not pay any costs associated with making alternative arrangements, repatriation, transport costs, or any other costs. No refunds will be made. F) General 1) You are responsible for arranging your own transport to the chalet. 2) Please note that travel insurance is essential and no liability will be accepted for any clients travelling without adequate insurance.
