For the gourmets, the area is well known for its wild mushrooms, and foraging for them is a wonderfully invigorating way to work up a good appetite! For those really hot days, a 45-minute cycle ride away (20 minutes by car) is a beautiful large freshwater swimming lake surrounded by mountains in the village of Jausiers.
